i got beat by a 03 cobra.

i have a 95 ta with a lt1 from a 95 vette. i raceed a 03 cobra and got beat. it didn't have a super charger. it was a normal cobar. i had 5 people in my car and he had 3 but still. is this norma. i got beat by 1/2 car. and then bye 1 car.

Perhaps it was an earlier version of the Cobra, or if it was for sure an '03, then maybe the guy's pulley fell off?? :D

he said it was a 03. i don't know he told me that it wasn't superchargered and i didn't hear the wine. that link said that the cobra runs a 13.5-13.6. so why would i get flamed for losing to something that is faster. i think that he had so mods. not sure. i will get a rematch after cam and heads are installed.

b/c if it were a real 03 cobra it would have a blower on it

that is why i looked at the times for to 01 cobra in stead of the 03.

i think ur only being flamed b/c u said u raced an 03 cobra that didnt have a blower.....

...dont get me wrong i dont know how much u know about the newer cobras , but u SHOULD know that all 03-04s were blown

Heres a tip. The 03-04 cobras have a wing that is attached to the trunk. there is no gap between the wing and the trunk. the supercharged ones have a gap between the wing and trunk

You guys know it is possible to take the superchargers off right. I know of some people that run turbos on the 03-04 cobras. Now why would you do that if it comes stock with a supercharger? Maybe he want to be the only person to have a non-supercharged 03 cobra. Or maybe transam001 did race a different year cobra. Dont just go flameing people, ask questions.

u can also tell by the hoods, the non s/c ones i belive only had one dip and the s/c ones had 2 :eek:

it had 2 dips in the hood not one i will get a pic and post it.

thats is true he told me thta it was a 03 but, it does look like the one in the pic that says superchargered. maybe he put the hood and the spoiler on it so he could say it was a 03. who knows. but i know it didn't have a supercharger.

Very possible for a pre 03 cobra to add the hood and wing from the blown version. The guy probally had plans for a blower someday. Anyway next time you see the car check the registration for the year then blow the person out for claiming it was an 03 cobra.

i know most cars by shape in the dark and by tail and head lights (notice i said most) thats 1 of my jobs to know cars. i am in the line of work where spotting a bail skips car is the differance between paying the courts money or picking up the fags that think they dont have to go to court.as far as mods , did i say a damn thing about mods. i said he needs to know his cars, get it right junior. enjoy the rest of your day
