Times Question

I went to the track for the second time ever and ran a 14.2 at 97 MPH. My car is a 95 Z with 125k on it. and the following Mods done: Flowmaster Exhaust Cat back, Air Foil, K&N CAI, a 3.73 Gear, HHPIII . it is an A4 trans too. I have seen is some peoples Sigs. with times from 13.8 to 13.6 with same mods .. my question is does that time and MPH seem right or is that seem slow? :confused:

seems a little slow to me....i've seen stock A4 cars go 13.8's in good conditions

what do you mean go conditions? if your talking about the weather. The temp was in the 60s when I ran that. and the Car had sat for a while so the temp of the engine was low. but if you are talking about the condition of the car. there isn't anything wrong with it. I had just changed the Opti, Coil, Plugs and wires about a month before going to the track. ..

sorry I wanted to add that my 60`....2.119 and
the 1/8...9.175 @76.88 MPH

track conditions.....temp, humidity, barometer......plus i race at a track that is pretty close to sea level, so cars are generally faster down here
