Coilovers still mess with my launch?! ---

I know you guys say lowering springs mess with the launch. What if I went with full coilovers, but ONLY lowered the fronts like 2" and left the rears stock height ( the 315's rub now as it is ). I already bought some SLP revalved bilsteins to put in the coilovers. I am going for the raked look but dont want to sacrafice my launch ( a little bit wont hurt me, its a daily driver , with minimal track use ). What do you think?! ---

BTW I have an adj. torque arm, adj. panhard rod, relocation brackets, strut brace bar, SLP subframe connectors, and lower control arms installed too ---

PS. What about coilovers in the front, and a single airbag in the right rear with the stock springs/and bilsteins all around (or coilovers all around)? Would that be better? ---

Coil overs have nothing to do with the launch. It all depends on spring rate.
If you use coilovers with the stock spring rates, they will not change the launch characteristics.

Stiffer front shocks will hurt traction as the front will not rise as quickly & a lower car will reduce weight transfer as well.

I would not add rake as this shifts weight toward the front & hurts both traction & handling.

It is hard to have the best of both worlds. For handling you would want the car slightly stiffer & lower. For optimum launch, softer & higher tends to help.

I am running coilover setup with 325/125 F&R rates with a double adjustable shock. This way you can run a medium stiffness on the street for near stock handling & simply loosen the extension rate of the front shock for a better launch with a street tire.

With a slick (and enough power), the front shock can be stiffened to limit the weight transfer (control wheelstands) in order to keep the car off the back bumper.
