Im trying to remove my factory swaybar but it seems like the nut and the bolt head are just spinning in one motion. I put so much pressure and they wont just break free. Any ways on how to get this? im super angry at this nut.

Ok I managed to get the stock springs and shocks off out of the car. I have one set now compressed on the spring compressor, but the I cannot manage to get the shock mount to come off of the shock. I Have it compressed enough and the nut off. Its just looking really rusty and grity. Do any of you guys know if I need new shock mounts? Need asap response thanks!

Common rust area as water can sit in the mount. Needing a new mount will depend on how much it is damaged. Be sure to apply some antisieze grease to the threads on the new shock to keep the rust from coming back.

I agree, my mounts were so bad I just bought new ones.
Be prepared they are like 120 each.
I usually break the sway bar bolts off if they have been on for years. No use fighting them. I just buy new poly ones to put in.

Yah me and my bud just finished it...... 4am. We burned the midnight fuel and took it for a spin. Handles really really well. I love it. Only one thing that is bugging me... the rear suspension is squeaking between the rubber pieces. Where you have to lift up the rear carpet. How should I fix this squeakin? Grease?

The upper perches were rusted severly from Canadian weather, so I managed to save it buy hack sawing the metal rod that holds it to the perch, from the shock. I then got it out and hit it numerous times with the hammer and the marker. Anyways saved myself $250 for new perches. Good as new, cleaned them up.

Pics will be posted soon, hasnt become light out yet.
