MSD box and noise, filter, capacitor, isolator?

I really need some tips on getting rid of MSD-6AL noise from speakers without getting rid of a box itself. It's driving me crazy

All grounds are great, new Optima battery, no noise without MSD, no ground loop. MSD sells a highly overpriced capacitor to install in parallel with box, they name it filter. By the size of it it's like 10000-50000mF/50v or around it  Noise seems to be from noisy DC, with RCA's disconnected from amps, there still noise.

IMHO, MSD is a total POS. I'll NEVER have their products on any of my cars or trucks again.

That being said, did you upgrade your spark plug wires? Chances are thats where the RFI is coming from. That and/or the MSD unit itself. Which wouldn't surprise me any considering the poor quaility of their products. IMHO of course.

Thats for sure sound of MSD, without it - no noise. I am using it for 2 years and it works great for me - almost eliminated fouling plugs on a richer then normal tune in my stroker. Rev limiter is nice too. I think, right way to do it would be Delteq/LTCC and dyno tune  Why you came to conclusion that it's total POS? Box failures, something else?

I had two of them fail. And their customer support was VERY lacking. Even when the thing did work I didn't notice any improvements.

mounting location does matter is the box itself actually grounded or not? I agree with the plug wires making sure they are rated to reduce RF noise
