01 SS camaro

okay, so my buddy just got an 01 SS M6, all it has is catback exhaust. my mods are in my sig., and im also getting 1.6rr, Lt4 springs, 160* t-stat, madz28 tune, and ill be sitting on brand new MT et street slicks, so traction wont be too bad of a problem. were both very decent at driving stick, who do you guys think would win?? he said he would destroy me...

Ehh, their fast, but if you have the 1.6's and springs, and the tune, I would say drivers equal, in a race to 100 my money would be on you.

Besides, good at driving a stick or not, its gonna be a new car, and he wont drive it as well as he could once he gets used to it.

Dude you will smoke him give him more credit than that:confused: I raced a a modded ls1 i was one car back when he punched he cheated of course I was fetching him like a hooker on a pole....and then he let off... Honestly if you can drive you will smoke him.... I put down 290 328 to wheels when had all boltons minus headers and tune. I had every bolt on minus headers but hpp tune.

Headers and a couple intake mods won't make you equal to an LS1 power-wise:no:. The 1.6 rockers will definitely start to change that. But, your slicks and 4.10's will give you quite an advantage, especially if he's running street tires, and you're running ET Streets:rolleyes:.

With equal setup, equal drivers, I'd give the nod to the LS1. But if it's setup like you're saying (you w/slicks, him w/street tires) then you should take him:shrug:.
