Does the new DOHC Diesel tell us about the next N*
Simply put does this new DOHC light duty diesel V8 indicate anything to us about the Northstar's future? Is this a product of the Ultra V8 planning? Could we see a gas version of it, with maybe a different bore/stroke ratio?
Also we don't know anything about the displacement or bore or stroke?

I wouldn't have a problem with it in the current cars as-is, plus a little tuning of course. Its about the same size as LSx and the Northstar is bigger than those so it should fit...
With something like that you could get a STS-V that wouldn't have the guzzler tax the regular V8 does.
