Valentine One Radar/Laser Detector for sale. This is simply the most superior Radar/Laser detecter ever made. It will detect Radar/Laser over 2 miles in every direction! This thing has saved me more times than can be counted. It is still in excellent shape. Comes with everything in the picture including the windsheild holder, power adapter to the cigarette lighter, and wiring to manually wire it through a dash. Brand new these run $400 plus shipping. I am asking only $310 shipped! Checks accepted, but paypal is preffered.

Then why reply to my post??? Mine has been kept in perfect condition since day one. Because I feel strongly that mine is just as good as a brand new one, and I even still have much of the original wiring still in their un-opened bags, along with everything it came with still in perfect shape, I think the price is more than a bargain at $300+$10 shipping. If you think you can find another used V1 as in good of shape as mine for less, then look. I already have. I looked to find a good price to ask on mine, and trust me when I say it is priced more than fair. New you will pay $400 plus shipping, or you can buy mine that is in new condition for $100 less.

What is the serial number of your V1 because it looks like one of the old 1.7 versions that are bigger than the new 1.8 versions.

Sure, the serial # is 6641120501. If you go to their website you will see it is available for an upgrade. However, the upgrade seems to be a minor difference from my current model. This is what it says (copied straight of the site):
Upgrade Recommendation: While this version is not quite up to today's V1 standard for Ka, it's almost always good enough, and always better than detectors from other makers. X and K performance is excellent. Upgrading merely to improve radar performance is not cost effective, in my opinion, unless you're concerned about the POP Mode operating in your area.
It may be the larger style, but it is still a pretty standard size for a radar detector. If size is what is holding you back, they do have a remote display screen you can buy for like $40 and then you don't have to have the unit up fron on the windshield.

I have a 1.7v V1. My buddy has the 1.8v. They work nearly the same. We did a side by side test with both of them on the windshield and they performed the same. Good luck with your sale :)

If you look at magazine articles that compare Detectors, or look online (other than websites advertising their own Detector) you will find that the V1 is by far the best detector on the market. I almost had to laugh when I read "just as good as the Escort 8500 X50". If anything, there are few that come close to the V1's detection range and capabilities.
