I saw in the GP that you can use the brake brackets for the C6 calipers too.
Here is the story on my car.... 2000 z28, 383 stroker, 461 rwhp, used for SOLO I and SOLO II AX events. Car is heavy, 3800# with me in it and has full interior and working ac.
Currently I run stock rotors and calipers with hawk HT10 pads on the Solo I events and Hawk HP+ pads for solo II and street use.
I CAN NOT induce ABS no matter how hard I push the brakes when I am on my V710 r compounds running Solo I events. Therefore I need more brake!
So, what will be best??? Wilwood? C5? C6?
I am running 17x9.5 Konig Monsoon wheels and have a lot of clearance between the spokes and the calipers.
I already have Stainless lines front and back and want to know if I can run them with the vette brakes??
Down side to wilwood seems to be price and no dust shields. Will they stop much better than the vette brakes? How much better?
thanks
Brad
