i have a 200W sub from a Logitech Z56 4.1 system. i was just wondering if it would be possible to wire it up to my car.

the sub is pretty large and has its own amp. it connects to the source through a cable which would normally go in a headphone type jack.

does it plug in also via a 110 source in your house? in other words how does the amp work?

Well, if it is a house speaker it runs at 8ohms car subs run at 4 to 1 ohms (depending on voice coils and wiring) it also depends on the amp u plan on usuing.

it plugs into a regular power outlet in the wall. so i guess i would need something like a power inverter if i wanted to use the built-in amp.
