Okay, I was checking out this thread:
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105043
And the dude says 3 types of speakers, but says he didn't replace the hatch speakers. I don't know a damn thing about stereo systems and need to replace the ones next to the back seats. What are all the types of speakers he mentions in that thread and where are they located in my car?
Oh, and I've got a '98 Camaro with the stock Monsoon system.

Also, what's a good speaker (except the JL 6W0) to use instead of the RF4460 they used (the RF4460 was discontinued awhile ago)...?

Save your time and money and do it right first time - get rid of Monsoon all together - replace HU, drivers, amp. Or else you will be doing upgrade twice, trust me.

Ya see, I'd probably upgrade everything now.. but it all works and I start college in a month.. I'll just get the subs and if I need replacements later, I'll get 'em then. But thanks.

The rear speakers are a full speaker to fill in sound. 4 ohm (i think) 4 ohm is a standard aftermaket speaker and 4" is a standard size. Any cheaper speaker like pionner from walmart would work good. Some of the $$$ ones take some power to run. (also some of the real off brand cheap ones) I wouldn't worry about a seperate tweeter on such a small speaker either. $25 should cover it.

Are you saying to just replace the hatch speakers and forget the ones by the rear seats? I blew the one by the passenger-side rear seat.
However, thanks for the advice. I might just look into that since it's a cheap upgrade...

Also, do you think this would work with the stock Monsoon amp/head unit?

Seems like a hell of a deal. Would they fit in the front doors of my '98 Camaro?

Sorry wrong speaker. Nope you are toast, keep eye out for a used one on the sale area or ebay. Since bass is non-directional I would just unhook it and run with one for a while.
Other post, the front speakers are a bugger because there are really a tweeter/full speaker running off the frt. channel of the HU. The 6.5 is a mid speaker running off the amp at 2 ohms.
The speakers you picked out are (Sensitivity: 88 dB) meaning it takes a lot of power to run them. I would try to find something in the low-mid 90's. (same for the rear hatch speakers above) Unless you go with a different setup/HU I would leave the frt speakers alone.
