anyone in FL have their ccwp??

I want to get mine...what kind of process do you have to go thru to get one? i have a spotless backround... any comments welcome!

Do you want to get one and don't care what kind of training you get? Go to a gun show and take the class.

Do you want to receive proper training and instruction on the law? Go to a shooting range and take the class.

The gun show will take your pic, fingerprint you, and administer the class for like $50 and take 3 hours. A real class will cost you about $100-$125 and take 1-2 days.

Once you have completed the course. Mail it off to the Dept. of Agriculture (Yeah, they are the ones that issue the cwp lol) and enclose a check for $117 I believe and it will come in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Simple as that.

Wow....your permits are much more expensive than ours (Virginia). I'm glad I got mine before I came down here and thank god for reciprocity:D
