Listen to this!!!

ok so i was driving around doing some huntin, in a 4 lane road when i see this new bodystyle 2 dr Honda accord. He flies by me and when he shifts I hear a BOV. I romp down on her and catch up. I caught him at a light and i was in the far right lane that ends about 1/8 mile up the road. The kid was about 18 or 19 and he had his windows down and told me i didn't have a chance that he was turbo with almost 400hp at the front wheels (he didn't have DR's). I told him I'd give it a shot. :D . So the light turned green and off we went. I jumped about 2 cars on him and he started closing in FAST but i held it out and got in front of him. He motioned me to follow him so i did to the on ramp to the interstate we go up the ramp and line up at about a 40 roll and he gave 3 honks and jumped on the 2nd (of course) he got a car on me and in no time i had 2 on him until abou 90 then he crept by me very slowly. anyways this car was pretty damn fast for a stock looking honda accord? Definatly a SLEEPER!! he didn't even have rims on it . It looked totally FACTORY which i think is pretty cool anyways just thought i'd share

i drove a 2003 honda civic si with greddy turbo, it was fast as s***, it felt faster than the srt4 i drove , the thing was getting no traction though. I have even thought about selling my z28 and investing the money from it in my 94 civic.

^Gay ... Stupidest idea you ever had.

You would much better off selling IT and investing that money into your camaro is you want engine reliabilty and fast in the same sentance. Alot cheaper to build a 11-12 second F-Body than a FWD **** box.

WHAT???? No way man are you crazy?? I agree with HARDCORERM125 on this one. Sell that rice burner and put the cash into the camaro. are you NUTS?!!??

like i said , i never did sell my z28 , it was just an idea, but that civic was sick, it was really fun to drive and i dont really care about running at the track since i barely go there ( maybe once a year or so ). I usually street race.

So what are your track times? How much power are you making? What cam do you have, and what rockers?

Edit... I saw one of your old posts where you say that you rebuilt the engine to stock. So all you have is a catback and CAI with a A4 LT1. You are probably trapping about 98-100 in the 1/4 mile, so there are quite a few cars out now that are in that range very easily.

Street racing a civic would be worse...unless you wanted to run drs on the front...not a good idea.

never been to a quarter mile track and yes i was rebuilt back to facory and bored .30 over my car runs freakishly strong though. I've have a few other f body's and this one is by far the strongest even being an auto. i ran a 9.5 in an 1/8 mile before the rebuild

i sold the civic and I currently have a 94 z28 and a 99 firebird. I like both imports and domestics, i think they both have their advantages.

I'm assuming you were in your Z28, and not your Vette. :D

Got any numbers on your setup? (track or dyno)

The vette runs consistant mid 11's when on slicks

and yes i was definatley in me z28 , I wouldn't have wasted the fuel in the vette on him:D

9.5 in the 1/8th, what was wrong with your car?

I meant numbers for your Z28, so that I could get an idea of how fast the Accord was. ;)
