Its called "The Story of Camaro", I saw it at Borders today and flipped through it. Its a very nice Camaro book, if not the best Camaro book I've seen. It covers every year, 1967 to 2002 plus photos of the concept and the building of the concept. One thing I really like about this book is that there is equal amount of pages spent on every generation of Camaro or so it seemed. Most Camaro books are laden in first gen. info by the time you work your way through the generations to the 4th gen. cars, chapters are usually only a couple of pages, not the case with this book. 3rd and 4th generation coverage is very generous in this book.

This book was $30.00 at Borders so I didn't rush to the check-out counter with it in my hands, not to say it isn't worth $30 bucks. Its very nice, hard cover, nice sized, excellent photos, and lots of info. I just didn't feel like spending $30+ bucks today. Then I came home and found it on Amazon for a whole lot cheaper.

Looks good, I might pick it up some day if I remember this thread. I'm glad they spend a little more time on the recent models of the car though, I hate seeing the first generation hog up all the glory when that body spent the least amount of time in production. (not to say they aren't amazing cars or anything)

No doubt...whats up with that? It's like they're ashamed of the LT-1 Camaro.

I have both books. But mine were pre production. The new book has the same 68 on the cover as the primary car, but I have 4 cars at the bottom. A yellow and black 69 Z28, a blue 78 Z28, a red LS1 SS and the concept car. My car is on page 123 (in my book anyway) and also my wifes old 93 Pace car is in this book. I helped the publisher get some info on the specialty cars.

The Standard Catalog of Camaro was another book I helped them gather information on. There are alot of mistakes in the original printing. Hopefully they fixed them for the later revisions. The publisher even acknowledged me in the beginning of the Standard Catalog book. That was cool!
