How many here will go to see the movie because of the
5th Gen Camaro?

How many would go see it if The 5th Gen was NOT
in the movie?

Come on, speak up :) :) :)

I'm going to see it regardless of what vehicles are in it.

I grew up with Transformers so I'm there. The addition of the camaro is a nice bonus!

If theres an awesome car in the movie, i'm there. I even went to see the dukes of hazzard in the theatre. So i would see it regardless, but knowing a 5th gen will be in there makes it about 10X more exciting.

But with the recent surge in interest for the 1st gen Camaro (ie 2fast 2furious, 5th gen reveal, yearones "brand new 69") i seriously doubt that a camaro would not make some sort of appearance.

I'd go no matter what, but the Camaro definatly makes it a must see the first week.

Im not a big movie fan, I dont go to the theaters that often, but I will be making it for the transformers movie. I mean, I grew up watching the cartoon, and this will hopefully make it better now that the 5th gen is part of it.

I would still go see it if the new maro wasn't in it, but It wouldn't be a opening day thing for me.

I would go see it anyway, since I grew up with them...but with a 5th gen in there, I'm definitely going to the big screen, and I don't do that very often.

And with the announcement that Chevy has approved the Camaro for production, the movie may just be the beginning of another Mustang vs. Camaro war to take place off the silver screen on our backroads and byways.

I'm sorry, did I miss something?

Same here. :::glances up at every season of Transformers G1 and Beast Wars on his DVD shelf:::then over to the Transformers comics sitting on his dining room table that just came in yesterday:::and not to mention the full box of older Transformers comics in his basement::: ;)

'Til all are one!!! LOL

I'll be going to see it regardless but the Camaro is a nice bonus. I hope they make bumblebee a little cooler than he used to be though.

Im gonna go see the movie bc I was a fan of the transformers back in their hayday. The fact that the 5th gen is in it is only icing on the cake :D

The Camaro versus Sky thread got me thinking 'why isn't Bumblebee going to be a Solstice or Sky?' Would make more sense. The could of used one of the less lame autobots for the Camaro. :)

Is it possible that 'Bumblebee' isn't the actual name they're using for the Camaro? I thought I'd read somewhere that they were using false names to keep some secrets about who/what is really going on. Though considering it's yellow with black stripes, Bumblebee is most likely true.

In some of the more recent comics Bumblebee hasn't been as weak a character as he originally was.

I still think if they were going with a Yellow Camaro it should have been Sunstreaker.

I seem to remember that Bumblebee was a central character on the TV show. He was also friendly. This could help distance the Camaro from the 'drunk redneck with a mullet' image that some have of the car, and give the car some positive exposure.

Maybe Bumblebee was lame in the cartoon, but I don't remember thinking that as a kid. I think it's possible to have a non-lame Bumblebee. Giving him Camaro muscle, attitude and style would be a good start.

Anyway, I'll probably see the movie because the 5th gen is in it. That I played with Transformers as a kid is a bonus.
