okay, well since i installed my cam in the fall, had issues with using AC. If car was at idle or i was coming to a stop and turning with it on, car would either stall. Sometimes if i turned it on low at idle it would struggle for a bit but after few moments bring the idle up and be fine as long as i dont turn it full blast.

well, i kinda just ignored it figuring it was cause of the cam, but temps are hitting near 100 now and with humidity feels over 110. having a black car, with black leather is getting pretty tough to drive in.

ive heard of other guys using bigger cams and still having no problems with AC so wondering if theres something i should be looking at or other people have similar problems with this cam.


personally ive always been all for removing AC and did it in previous car, but the weather is getting pretty bad, and im becoming a pansy apparently.

have you had any tuning done also?

 

yup - had madz tune , then when i had the gears put in and her dynoed, had the tune tweaked a bit get everything perfect. they were actually really surprised at the mail order tune and how good it was.

other than the AC car runs great. had an issue with idle, which turned out to be combination of a vacum leak and dirty IAC. but thats fine now. idle is 850 by the way

 

did you check the freon? might just need a refill.
