Is 0W 40 good for my car?

Just as the title states. It is Mobil 1 brand and the car has 177,xxx miles. I know 10w 40 would be good but i'm confused as to 0W 40. Thanks.

nevermind, did a search and found i should go with German Castrol Syntec 0W 30 or M1 0W 40.
