gearing question... crossing the line at top of 4th at 103devlbasherZ28 11-11-2002, 12:23 PM like it says, i am crossing the line wound out(5900ish RPMs) in 4th but only trapping 103.5 at best.... stock motor, LM exhaust, and 3.73's.... i thought i should have more room left at the top of 4th with 3.73's....any input?!?! thanks!! magnumv8 11-12-2002, 01:03 AM just from my experience that sounds about right. Im running 4.10s and at apx. 5700rpm (4th gear) Im at about 99mph. Id say if your crossing the line at the top of 4th, your gear is matched up pretty good for your set up.
