can someone with knowledge work with me on a 5.3 lsx swap

anyone wanan help me put together a list for a 5.3 swap... they are much cheaper than the ls1 and can be just a stout. can i use a v6 auto tranny? or must it be a v8 tranny like the lt1 swaps need


so far i have :
-engine
-auto trans from a 98+ v8 ls1
-engine cradle
-wiring harness from a ls1
-headers, cam, intake...
-LSD,tune up

You need the same stuff and LS1 swap needs.

V6 tranny? No chance. Wouldn't last long if it would even bolt up anyway...

Just substitute 5.3L in place of 5.7L on any LS1 swap list already provided.
