How do I get blinker lights off

I have been trying to take out my front blinker lights and I took of the front lights but I was wondering if i have to take off the front head light to be able to take the blinker out or will I be able to take it out without taking the front head light out. If you know how to take the blinker out I would be very grateful for any help that you could give.
