IgorT.455/406 07-10-2006, 09:40 PM Hey guys,
Before I make my purchase, I'd like to see some pics of aftermarket NON vette wheels.
I am having a hard time searching about 4th gen with non vette wheels.
I like vette wheels, but trouble is one of my friends has Zr1 wheels, the other Z06 wheels, now found out one more has C6 wheels and another guy a set of C6 Z06 (was gonna get those) rims on order. Its said that every F-body I know has vette wheels. I'd like to be different.
But I still want 17 or 19x9.5 or 10" wide wheels with the right fit.
Any pics of any aftermarket wheels, or at least names of good fitting aftermarket wheels. I kinda like the 5 star look.
Thanks guys,
Igor.

IgorT.455/406 07-10-2006, 11:52 PM xxsaint69x,
Those Fiske's look good. What offset/fitment issues/tires are you running?
Any idea on where is a good place to buy them?
Thanks,
Igor.
P.S. Its not that I don't like the vette wheels, its that all my friends have them. I would also like to go 11" wide if possible in the rear.
Any others aside from the Fiske?
THanks
Meatyshells 07-11-2006, 12:02 AM arent those like really really really really expensive?
IgorT.455/406 07-11-2006, 12:17 AM I can't even find who sells them. I'm assuming very expensive, but I think very light/strong.

Excuse the lack of decent photo composition. These were just snap shots to post. Haven't seen these on any other F-body yet.
Couple of close ups.

Yes they are! very very very expensive that is... atleast to me. I think round 2500-3k for a set of rims?

If you like that look. The Sportmax 962 is close. If it wasn't for the center of the wheel I'd be rolling on them.

Then there is the ARE Rebel (669), but they only come i chrome or black center.

of course they look a lot better clean and close up
BigDB 07-19-2006, 01:32 AM bump for this, I also dont want to be on the bandwagon of OEM rims. They do look really nice but everyone and their brother has them. I bought the car with some konigs on it, need them off now, lol. I want the AR rebels but the 17's have a offset of 24mm :(

Thanks.

97QuasarBlue3.8 07-28-2006, 02:01 PM I used to work for Fikse. Their wheels are absolutely second to none, but they do come at a price.
There are many Fikse dealers nationwide. You may want to give Fikse a call directly. They will discuss all the fitment options, styles, and finishes with you as well as write you a quote.
The telephone number to Fikse is located on their website. It is fairly hidden, but it is there. Or, you can do a search on Big Yellow. They are located in Kent, WA.
TA25th 07-28-2006, 05:02 PM I really like the ADRs but wish they came wider. Is 8.5 as wide as they come?
Thanks.
Yes, I paid $150 a wheel to have the rears widened to 10". They added the extra 1.5" to the backside of the rim and the offset was still perfect after that. :D
