Need new fog lights

I have a 96 camaro and my foglights havent worked since I bought it in November and I decided its time to get new ones.. Sure i could replace the bulbs but the stock fogs are just fugly. I want something that will just bolt right back on to the stock brackets and I dont have to deal with all the BS... and I dont really want the "Hella FF75s" because to many people have those on here. Can anyone help me out on this..?

Re: Need new fog lights

I know I keep responding to your questions, but I prob can help you w/ this too. I don't like the stock foglights either so I've had about 4 different sets of fogs on my 2 camaros. In terms of something mounting up to the stock bracket, I am not sure of any that will work. There has got to be some. But any of the small Pilot, or PIAA can be tucked into the bumper. Its a pain to mount them but if you have a flexible screwdriver, you'll be golden. The mounting holes will also be far enough back that noone will ever be able to tell something was done. I just re-did my foglights last nite so I could get my grillguy.com grill in w/out the lights rubbing on it.
You can get all kinds of lights to fit that opening though...you just gotta choose the look you are going for.
Good luck!

Re: Need new fog lights

well i had some that i bought from autozone that were almost like stock that also had a 7 color changing led for show but those were about half an inch or so too short and had A LOT of new wiring for the regular fogs AND the led and i just decided i didnt want to mess with it THAT much.. so now im just looking for something a little more simple rectangular shape, i dont know if i really like the round ones..

Re: Need new fog lights

Chevy16, I have those same fogs with the 7 changing LED's that I bought from autozone on my car. They are made by Pilot. I got them to fit on the stock brackets with longer bolts and a few washers. I ran all the new wiring because my stock foglight switch was broken anyway, and as you know, the only way to get the LED's to work is to run the new wires and use the switch that came with the lights. The Lights aren't all they are cracked up to be. The LED's are cool for a minute, but then you realize you can't drive with any of the colors on or you could get pulled over. Plus I found myself only using Blue whenever I had Just The LED's on, cause the other colors are gay. Also, You can't have the LED's and the Fog lights on at the same time, which sucks because I was hoping I could create a blue tint to the lights by using the blue LED when the fog light was on, but no can do. The Lights are an obvious "white" light, especially when compared to the Stock Camaro Headlights. I would say as far as light output, they are only as good as the stock fogs, and the only thing better about them is the more white-ish look to them. I Did the Hella FF75 Conversion for my Highs and Lows, and they really light up the road. I bought some different H7 Phillps bulbs (I forget what the name of them were) for an extra $40 and they Are not any brighter than the regular Hella H7 bulbs that come with the car, just slightly "whiter". In general, the Hella FF75's have a very Narrow Beam in the Driving Lamp pattern, and they only shine maybe 5 feet to each side of the car if that. They are basically a FORWARD facing light and you can't see **** to the side of you. I have it wired so I can have High/Low/Fog on at the same time which is nice, but the pilot fog lights suck wicked bad compared to the Hella lights as far as light output. I Am Looking to Buy the Hella FF75 in the fog light pattern to replace the Pilots. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME PUTTING THE PILOT FOG LIGHTS IN.

That's because they kick ***
But you will have to fab up your own mounting plates. Not a big deal, that part is pretty easy.
