You took those personally?

As far as the truck looks....

Since I first saw these shots I guess the front end has grown on me, but the rest is going to have to be seen in person. It’s not doing it for me on the computer.

I guess I'll have to see in August.

I would like to see a single cab, short bed, I bet that would look pretty good with that front end.

Just curious, but why not?

If someone downloaded those photos from a public website and hosts them on a personal server, how is that wrong?

Maybe you can educate me, how can you copyright a picture that is posted on the internet?

Ever win any legal battles over use of your copyrighted pictures?

Please dont post my spy photos. Thanks.

How does the Sierra look?

I think the Silverado looks butt ugly with those damn fender flares, and I know there has been a thread on bashing the Silverado, so I wont do that here.

2007 > 2003-06

The 2007 front kind of reminds of a Chevy version of the GMC Terradyne

I really gotta see those fender flares in person. In the spy shots they really look clumsy and dis-proportionate to the rest of the body and could make the wheels look small (ala cladded Avalanches)

Have there been any 'naked' spy shots of the GMC Sierra?

No.

I hope the interior is only 'different' from the SUVs/SUTs and not significantly cheaper. We've seen spy photos that confirm it looks pretty drastically different. To me it looks cheaper from a distance, but I'm still anxious to see confirmation.

Since Chris Doane took the pictures, he can certainly copyright them. They are his original works. The pictures have a copyright notice - so redistributing them without the copyright holder's permission is in fact wrong. The sites that run photos from Chris Doane and Brenda Priddy pay for permission to publish the photos, so it's not fair to link to the photos on those sites. I doubt Brandon would like it if others linked to photos here without his permission.

I agree with that. I'm not a fan of the current Silverado's front end. I like the more subdued look of the 07. Hopefully the interior is as good as the new Tahoe's as well.

Publishing photos on the internet doesn't remove the fact that it's a copyrighted work. Sometimes people assume once it hits the internet, the work becomes public domain. That is not the case. Eric77TA's previous post was pretty much spot on.

that's pretty funny!

Not to mention, true, Scott.
I think you're pretty familiar with copyrighted photography. ;)

LoL, now THAT's funny.

Dont worry Chris, Scott just has a case of sour grapes since you spoiled the Silverado debut. You're right, he does know about copyrighted photos. They leak all the time! Hmm where are those Acadia press photos anyway.....embargo is almost up!
