If you are going to autocross then go ahead. The thing you will need to work on most for now is driving. Its been said before but it is true. A good driver in a crappy car will almost always beat a crappy driver in a good car.

Also check rule books. You could do things to your car putting you in a class where you will have no fun. A class where no matter what you do you can not become comp.
Also you do not have to just throw parts at it. Picking the right parts will be better than picking all the parts that work OK.

search though past posts about parts. On here and LS1.COM

Lonnie, did you see his sig? It says '94 turbocharged Camaro. I'd say that already puts him in an autox class where he won't be competitive. Sleeperz28, if your sig is accurate, I'd recommend using autoxing to learn how to drive your car and have fun. You might turn down your boost to minimum if you can. You won't be able to use that kind of power in a parking lot course.

Sleeperz28, like Lonnie says, do some searches on this forum and on LS1.com and you'll start to get some ideas. Your question is hard to answer without more details. You'll get those details from reading past posts.

For road racing, a cheap alternative is the 1LE setup with Koni DAs.

If you want something more special check out Global West or LG motorsports.

Also invest in a good set of big brakes to slow you down.
