hey i was just wondering, i have a 3.4l and i just bought 80 series flowmasters and noticed they were split and then two tips but not true duals. is there a way i can get true duals and if so, what would be the difference?

True duals would be pretty expensive, as they would have to be custom made. Also, you would see no improvement, and your car would most likely be a little bit slower than with just a normal aftermarket cat-back (due to the increased weight of the true dual system).

I have true duals on my car took a bit of work but there are two cat with an "X" pipe and two mufflers under aswell. It really opened up the car in the top end. Pretty nice sound as well.

the 3.4 does not move enough air to require true duals.
what you gain in the higher rpms, you will definately loose alot more in the lower rpms

Tried it on a Heads/Cam 3.4, sounded like crap and didn't make any more power (Dynoed).
I had 2 2.25" pipes with an H where the cat should have been.
I was running Pacesetter headers.

I later added 2 2.25" high-flow cats, but it didn't help much.

I ended up going back to a single 3" with a single-in/single-out 3" Hooker muffler.
I used a 2x2.25"in/1x3"out high flow cat.
