Cerwin Vega Fan 07-07-2006, 01:32 AM Car is going in for a repaint soon, my front and rear bumper need to be replaced. I want to do something to add some flare to my car and make it stand out. I already have a rear bumper replacement, I'm just trying to decide if I should buy a front bumper and then go with something like a wing west kit or go a different route. I have noticed on ebay their are a few body kits that replace both the front and rear bumper (and of course have the side skirts). I could change the bumpers myself and then add the stick on GFX but the body kits have no pre drilled hole or anything (body shop will probably charge a pretty penny to install them). I just have never seen these full kits installed on a Camaro, I'm not sure how the fitment will look.
ttop1986 07-07-2006, 02:39 AM Just do ground effects. The whole bumper cover pieces look too riced out for a camaro. I think something simple fits our cars the best, so I may end up buying an RK sport CA-300 kit. That one looks pretty good.
slayer6x6 07-07-2006, 05:41 PM I like the RS kit the best.
APS95Z28 07-08-2006, 12:57 AM DG motorsports sells on ebay for $375, full gfx, plus shipping. (Sometimes they list 98-02, sometimes 93-97, go to website for a look at both) Its different from W-west and Rk, plus a heck of a lot cheaper. Just a thought for ya.
EHuff 07-09-2006, 02:00 PM I agree with the RK Sport kits. They look nice and not too ricey, but still have that clean look to make heads turn when you are out.
2nd2sex 07-09-2006, 11:41 PM Where would be the best place to get the RS kit?
96 TA 07-09-2006, 11:52 PM The GM RS kit is my favorit!! IF your going to go with GFX then get a quality brand that wont look like a woodshop job at a local highschool, ive seen some very poor examples of GFX because people want something now and buy what ever they can afford at the moment instead of waiting to get quality kits. Another very subtle but attractive thing for camaros is the center exhaust SLP offers, it comes with the exhaust and rear bumper skirt and thats it, thats all you need and it really adds somthing unique to your car.
mikerulzu 07-10-2006, 02:18 AM Personally, I like the Xenon kit. Not just the front bumper (which I have), but the back valance too, since it has cutouts for the exhaust tips, which make it flow with the car better.
slayer6x6 07-10-2006, 04:42 PM Heres a few pics of my SS with the RS kit. I got it from an LS1tech.com member for about $200.

johnny6 07-10-2006, 05:31 PM Where is a good place to buy an RS kit?
slayer6x6 07-11-2006, 07:28 PM Your best bet is to keep an eye on ebay, and the message boards. The kit from GM is priced outrageous! They're getting harder to come by...
CamaroRacing12 07-12-2006, 12:45 AM wow slayer i love ur SS amazing and ur right the SS kit is nice....nice work man....and what kind of rims r those???? i love em
thesoundandthefury 07-12-2006, 02:10 AM Other than the three ridges in between the exhaust tip cutouts on the rear skirt, (which wouldn't be hard to shave off), I've always liked this kit:
Vizage

The sharp, angular cutouts facing forward on the front and side skirts seem to give off that "hauling ass while standing still" impression.

Thanks!
The wheels are the Speedy Envys, they're pretty much identical to the HPR5 but Speedy makes them in a chrome finish.
davidz28guy 07-13-2006, 12:22 PM ive got the vizge kit on my car, i think it looks awesome, as far as body kits go there all pretty ricy, id stick with a gfx kit, i think they help the look of the car alot:thumb:
blackz151 07-13-2006, 08:40 PM i got the vizage kit on mine and i love it. Looks crazy
shock6906 07-15-2006, 12:01 PM Go for the Vizages kit, it's the best looking one out there if you ask me. As far as the RS kit, the people who ONLY like the RS kit are the ones that are afraid take a little criticism for liking something different. Honestly, I think the RS kit looks like crap, especially the LT-1 body style kit, blecht. See the first car in my sig for an example of this great looking kit.
