your free to your opinions. i think it fits my car very well. i've studied and viewed several spoilers on the net and i like this one the best. i do admit it may look a little ricy but it looks better than stock! fills up the empty void in the rear. it will look better here soon when the whole car is in one color.:)

myself not a fan of the spoiler-

as for the flat black is it primer? or flat black with a matte clear?

and finally out of curiosity whats ""very fast" - after that last if you can catch me comment. way i see it .. .if your running flat black its a statement, and you better have an engine to back it.

i've got the engine but the car is another story. this car has been in a wreck before i owned it. i've replaced many suspension and body componets. i still need to replace a rear trailing arm. one is bent slightly and the car is unable to go above 90mph because it starts to shake violently. this is just my daily....my drag car is a 67 mustang.

I'm a bit confused. The wing is rice, but headlight covers and clear corners aren't? Painted interiors aren't? Unnecessary gauge pods aren't? What about NAWWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSS?

Okay, I'll admit I'm old. But when I was stationed in Japan, I got to be around authentic rice and I actually grew to like it. But still, I like the power of my good ol' American V8. And I don't see anybody calling the C5R rice...

The C5R is a purpose-built pure race car. Why would anyone call that rice?

How is the C5R rice? because it has R in it? That's just ignorance.

Headlight covers and clear corners are subtle. rice isn't subtle. painted interiors, depends on a lot of things, usually rice since these arn't luxury vehicles. gauge pods, again depends. If you have an A/F ratio, knock gauge, or something that means something then no, it's not rice. If you've got a clock or extra gauges that you already have or gauges for things you don't even have, yeah that's rice.

2002 body kit lol wtf?actually its just the rear and side skirts. the front will not fit and i believe these camaros look better without the front skirt....plus you dont have to worry about a speed bump ripping the entire nose off.

ohyea...something that is special about that mustang...it was my daily driver...it was my very first car....it has a full interior i with sound system....that is something you dont always see in a drag car. the only reason i dont drive it anymore is because gas has got to high. you can view my mustang in my profile pictures on myspace.com/chrishart03

http://s05.picshome.com/22d/dscf2353.jpg (http://www.picshome.com/) picture of the maro with the wheels. before it had anything done to the body. this car was wreck by a woman doing crack. she was doing around 80mph and went thru a fence backwards. most of the damage was in the front end. i have replace the fenders. hood, front nose, basically the whole doghouse. the front end was pulled one inch to the drivers side. then several componets underneath the car was replaced. the car looked like crap when i first got it. the passanger side rim was snapped in two pieces. i had the camaro delivered on rollback.http://s05.picshome.com/22d/93_camaro4.jpg (http://www.picshome.com/)

SVT03<<<<<<do you have something against me or camaros? i think you hated the chevy brand all together.....

in your signature it states"03 Focus SVT

Past F-body: 95 Trans Am convertible"

WTF???do you even own a chevy? if not then wtf are you still doing talking on this board for?

i've looked over this post and everyone else has room to talk but you. that or you dont know how to update your signature. everyone else has chevy's and maybe one ford usually as a truck to beat around in.

For an example it would be like me owning only VW beatles and knowing only how to work on VW;s and nothing else....going to a local car so and telling a guy that his car looks like crap because it doesnt have a "i love vw's" sticker in the rear window. that or going over to your buddies and telling them to tighten their shifter cable on the transmission so the transmission doesnt grind going into gears. for those of you who dont know this.....the 1st gen VW's have steel cable'srunning towards the rear of the car to the transmission inorder to shift unlike the 1st gen camaros/impalas/novas which had shifter rods and linkages. its just plain rude and ignorant.

I have nothing against ground effects, I just like a complete set. Leaving the front off looks goofy.

And I have every right to be here. I don't have an F-body anymore, so what? Take a look in the lounge, and see how many ex F-body owners are still here.
Exactly, there are many members on this board who do not own an f-body or even have a slight desire to. That doesn't mean that they are not car enthusiasts and it certainly doesn't mean they cannot participate on this forum simply because they do not own an f-body. Some of these members post routinely everyday and even go as far as to chip in a few bucks and become premium members.

okay ... that makes a lot more sense... so.. since it runs "8's" in the 1/8 that pretty much means roughly a 13 sec car. and since you have no specifics to what that 8 is.. it could be a high 13 almost 14 sec car.

Going to chime in with my opinion: It's ugly. Could be much worse, atleast it appears to flow with the body lines a little. Not like those parkbenches all the ricers use.

As for your 8 second stang, I smell bull****. Unless your daddy gave you that car, you would know whether you were running in the 8th or quarter. You seem to know a little about what you're doing, and I'm sure '67 is capable of an 8 second pass, but not with your lack of knowledge.

If it makes you feel any better, I also have that same wing. I have not installed it yet, but I will. I'd give a (blank) less what people think of it. I also have quit checking in on the board as much as I once did, simply because of threads such as this one. I never replied much to any of them anyway, but if I felt I had something to say, then I would. In fact, I see this is the first message I've posted since at least before January, since that was the last time I've visited. That was only because of the news of the camaro concept. Use this board for what its worth. There is both decent deals in the for-sale threads/gp threads, and valuable info on here, and the people that really know what there talking about are easy to spot. Good luck

You can't post a picture of a controversial item and ask for opinions, and then get pissed about the responses. You have five pages of replies, mostly negative, but more responses than most people get on their threads.

Think about it, if your mustang had any bragging rights, you would know for sure if it was an 8 second car, or a 13 second car. Anyone with any knowledge of their vehicle can judge that.
