97 z with procharger, acts like timing is retarded

Im about done with my car except for some tuning, I got the ecm done by brian at pcmforless. When I drive it when its cold it will act like it kind of loads up until about 160 degrees. Sometimes the thing will just rip and other times it acts like the timing is being pulled. When I keep the gas pedal steady at slow speeds it acts like something is holding is back, you can feel it kind of surge like your applying the brakes real lightly. Modz are stock motor, hooker lts, svo42lbs, P1 at 8lbs, MSD, TR6s, The stock regulator has my fuelpressure at 48lbs at idle, I do have a adj. one to put in place of it. My guess is its too rich or I need to have the ecm tuned a little different.

Take a look at your knock counts.

knock counts.. make sure u dont have a o2 sensor fault

Will a regular scan tool tell me if it has knock counts and if thats the problem where do I go from there

If I am understanding you correctly, and you just got a "base PCM tune" done, I would reccomend having a dyno tune done.
