Sorry if this has been done already. If so just tell me and I'll try to cancel the thread.
Anyways, which do you think would win the 1/4 drag race between a new Hemi Challenger, and the new (possibly supercharged from the factory) Camaro SS? Both of which will come out in the next few years.

Which Hemi?
R/T?
Daytona?
SRT?
are you assuming that the SS is top dog?

Kinda like counting how many eggs a chicken will hatch before the chicken is even born anyways.

Lets see:
A car from Chrysler where the final engine, horsepower, weight, and gearing figures haven't been done, finalized, or published versus a car whose engine not only is in not production, and not only do we not know what it's going to be (at least publicly), but whose horsepower, weight, and gearing figures haven't even gotten to the stage where it even "might" be done, finalized, or published, and is still at a couple of years away from that point.
If you want pure speculation, then the new titanium bodied Javelin from the reconstructed American Motors with it's miniture nuclear powered engine is going to smoke bothe the Camaro SS and the Hemi Challenger.
I'm glad you had that "Why do are you taking e a poll..with no actual specs." option on your poll. ;)

I vote for the Javelin that Guy has inside information on....

Who cares? I just wanna cruise around in my Camaro without even worrying about it's strip potential. I'm just gonna enjoy it's virtues, of which there will be many.
I've learnt my lessons with my worked Commodore... I'll leave drag racing for the experts... as well as those with deeper pockets than I.

Why are you taking a poll when there are no actual specs for the cars yet?

This is insane the new V8 Aveo SS would smoke all of them.

Eh, it's an interesting what if. My guess is the weight will kill the Challenger unless they go really extreme w/ the engine. I'm figuring they'll be using a warmed over version of the 425hp engine in the SRT-8s by the time the Challenger hits the streets, I don't think it will get it done versus a LS2 or LS3 level Camaro that should be a decent bit lighter...
I do look forward to the inevitable magazine shootouts...
6.2L 3600lbs. Camaro > 6.1L 3900lbs. Challenger
but I'll rate for the real specs

This was purely done for sheer speculation of coarse, since final specs won't be in for some time.

I'm more interested to know the results between the 2017 Supra V10 and the all new C8 Corvette. I understand this is all in good approximation and all but I just want to know what kind of gap in ET we should expect.
:D:p
Jury is out until we see official specs on both cars.
