torque arm bushing write up?

Im replacing my torque arm bushing and i was wondering if it was hard or if anyone had a write up of any kind?

You might want to look for a torque arm replacement article, the bushing is a part of that, install university has a write up about it and I'm sure there are others...

When you replace the bolt that clamps the bracket around the bushing that threads into the transmission, be sure not to cross thread it.

Replacing it with a stocker or aftermarket?

i noticed here they left the whole thing in the car and just beat the rivets off.. but it doesnt explain how they put it back together. Also, without access to a lift and such how would be the best way for me to do this?

I would grind the rivet heads off.
The bracket goes back together because the bottom fits together like a hinge and the top bolt squeezes it together.
You will want to have the car up on ramps and/or stands

im replacing this with a Energy suspension... do i have to remove like the tail of the transmission or the driveshaft to do this? Those bolts are really long and i dont understand if im supposed to just leave it all connected up there and grind off the rivets while its all attached.. or remove it all from the car and then do it.

No you don't take anything apart, just remove the 3 bolts that hold the front bushing mount on and slide it off the torque arm. Then you can work on it off the car.
It a good idea to support the rear tires so they wont move whe you unhook the front end of the torque arm.

so i was thinking.. drive it up on ramps.. jack up the rear and place on jackstands so its completely in the air and use a floor jack to support the rear?

okay cool and i just keep the torque arm in and take apart the mount? Should i remove the long through bolts? or knock off the rivets only?
