Killaz 06-27-2006, 11:44 PM The new camaro
*comes out in late 08 as a 09?
*It will come with IRS?
*It will NOT have the LS2?
*What motor is it likely to get?
*It will come with 19"wheels fromt 20" Rear?
*It will not have T Tops, but might have a targa in years to come?
*A loaded camaro will be available for $30,000?
Well, fill me in, what did i miss?
JasonD 06-27-2006, 11:48 PM You are wrong. ;)
But, we can't correct you on some things as they are undetermined.
Killaz 06-27-2006, 11:49 PM not even a hint?
And am i wrong on all acounts?
Bob Cosby 06-28-2006, 12:06 AM If we told you everything about the Camaro, we'd have to pretend we knew everything about the Camaro.
Killaz 06-28-2006, 12:12 AM but do we know anything?
JasonD 06-28-2006, 12:14 AM If we told you everything about the Camaro, we'd have to pretend we knew everything about the Camaro.
Heh...best way to put it!
not even a hint?
And am i wrong on all acounts?
I know my previous response was unfair, I was just playing. Here you go...
*comes out in late 08 as a 09?
We don't know. Could be. Hopefully sooner.
*It will come with IRS?
Unknown. Probably. Could change.
*It will NOT have the LS2?
Unknown. Might have something newer. Could change.
*What motor is it likely to get?
See above.
*It will come with 19"wheels fromt 20" Rear?
Good possiblity. Could change.
*It will not have T Tops, but might have a targa in years to come?
T-Tops - doubtful. Targa - even more doubtful unless I missed something.
*A loaded camaro will be available for $30,000?
Hopefully. The idea is to have it stay within $500 of a similarly equipped Mustang.
That's as good as it is gonna get from me.
Killaz 06-28-2006, 12:18 AM haha ok jason, ill keep pestering, one day you'll slip;)
JasonD 06-28-2006, 12:22 AM haha ok jason, ill keep pestering, one day you'll slip;)
Not a chance. Ever.
Besides...I really don't know better answers to your questions. For the most part. Sorta.
Heheh...seriously, so much is up in the air is is silly to even attempt to predict anything. So much could change.
Bob Cosby 06-28-2006, 12:32 AM Honesty.....what a concept.
Oh, hi Jason. ;)

Why are you such a hater of the "Winkie Club" anyway? They do make things more interesting around here, and if they just blabbed everything they knew, they wouldn't know much for long.
Or are you just really proud of your self for coming up with the term? ;)
Purple 92 SS 06-28-2006, 08:30 AM the answer is yes.
;) ;)
and no.

I don't hate em. That's all I can tell you though.
Or are you just really proud of your self for coming up with the term? ;)
It is good for one to be proud of something, don't you think?

I hope that turns out the be exactly the case.
I actually went to Ford's website yesterday purely out of curiosity to see just what a Mustang with everything I wanted would cost.
I was surprised. It was $29,100. I really expected it to go over $30,000 by at least $500.
Granted I don't want leather interior and that kept it a little cheaper. That price was for the GT Deluxe w/Auto, 8 spkr sound, interior upgrade, active antitheft system and 18" wheels. Anything else I'd want is standard...
Though that will never get me to own one...
