My carlisle experience

I'll spare everybody the details of the whole show, but my two highlights of the weekend was 1: Seeing the Concept, and 2: Hearing Scott Settlemeyer's discussion about GM and the new Camaro. While he didn't really say anything about the Camaro that wasn't already well known on this forum, it was still thrilling to hear him talk about the car, as well as provide some very interesting statastics on GM and their impact on the US economy compared to foreign car makers. No matter what questions people asked, Scott was very well informed, and provided very informative and complete answers. Knowing how poorly advertised the 4th gens were, and how well promoted the new Mustang is, I asked him about advertising the new Camaro, and he assured me that there will be a lot of it when the time comes, and also gave us some great background information about specifically why the 4th gen didn't get adverised. After he finished the discussion, he still continued to talk to a small group of us that followed him around everywhere he went.

At the end of all of that, I had an opportunity to thank him for keeping all of us out here on the Internet aware of what's going on, and for actually listening to what we have to say. That's something that I appreciate, and I'm sure plenty of others do too.

Oh yeah, the car was amazing too. :)

Scott is truly a great guy. Besides seeing and sitting in the concept, talking to him was a big highlight.

Well, I went to go see it on Sunday. By the time I got there is was raining pretty bad, and the concept was already gone. Can't say my Carlisle experience was really all that great. Anyone have any idea of the next time the concept will be in southeastern PA?
