If you have a misfire adding performance parts won't fix it.
Get that fixed first.

Alot of people like to go with Pacesetter Shorty Headers from http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/ for our car. You can get the regular painted ones for $200 plus shipping, or get the ceramic-coated ones for $300 plus shipping.
Most people get those, and some people get RKSport headers, but I don't know where to find a pair.
Currently, there aren't any longtubes made for the 3.8, but they're being worked on right now, but i'm guessing they're going to cost alot more than $400, since they're still in development.
Honestly, i'd head over to fullthrottlev6.com and check with those guys as to what you can find, because I know there are a couple options for headers for our 3.8's.

Another vote to fix the misfire before spending any money on performance....

if i was to buy some pacesetter headers, what else would i need to install them on my car? and how much would it cost (roughly) to have some one install them for me?

on the Pacesetter site I see $349 and $569 for the coated ones..... a little bit different to $200 / $300

i have pacesetter headers on my car and they made a huge difference. Actually theres a kid that threw a pair of pacesetters on his completly stock 98 3.8 a4 and it added 15 rwhp! which is pretty darn good for still having the stock intake and exhaust.

^^ you are the first person i have ever seen that had something bad to say about the pacesetters....thread starter dont take that comment to heart...come over to camarov6.com and read reviews....nothing but good things to say about the pacesetters
i paid 180 for mine brand spankin new....by far the best investment (performance wise besides the turbo) that i did.....made a noticable difference in power, and acceleration
