How is leaning out at WOT actually achieved???

Since its no secret that LT1's run very rich at WOT, I am just curious how the tuners lean out the WOT mixture for more power.

What specific parameters are tweaked?

Target A/F ratio in power enrichment (PE) mode is calculated based on the PE vs. RPM and PE vs. coolant temp tables.
