There is some hood scoops on a website www.importzx.com , that are an exact copy of the 98-02 SS hood scoop. They have to be molded in though. Do you guys think after being molded in, it'll have the same look?

 

Why not just buy a real SS hood??? Just remember, you get what you pay for.

 

Second that. If you do not have the cash right now, you can just save the money until you do. My philosophy is when it comes to my car there is no cutting costs.

 

Those add-on hood scoops look like crap. Just go with the real hood.

 

The thing is, I have a 2001 V6 Camaro in Europe. If I were to buy a hood and ship it over there, I would be paying shipping like I paid for the car. I think the hood scoop would work out good. It's an EXACT replica of the real one. So it should be good.

 

Its never an EXACT REPLICA.... its somebodys model of what a real SS hood scoop looks like. Just save your punds/euros/whatever and get the real deal. You will be MUCH happier in the end. And something else to think about, it would be functional.
