Camaro Video Contest.......with a bit of a twist.......

I'm truly amazed at the talent out there in cyberspace -- there are a lot of videos people have created about the Camaro -- the most recent one by Tazman --

Sooooooooooo....I propose................

A contest of sorts at the Fbody Gathering at the National Corvette Museum.

Submit your 'Camaro' or 'Fbody' video --- we'll earmark some time to have a showing of all selected videos -- and the winner would get some sort of award and perhaps -- I dunno -- a ride in the Concept???

If you're interested, send me a PM -- we'll need it in DVD format........and I'll give you the address to send it to.......

--guess I should add that it should be 5 minutes or less. (or the length of an existing song or soundtrack...)

Do we have to go there to enter this contest? Or is the winner decided before the event?

I have been depressed about my car the last couple of days. Last Friday I got the Camaro out of the Body Shop...local Chevy Dealer had put it on the lift the week before to change the oil and tweeked both front fenders :mad:

I was running a little Hard when the the Front Seal went south bound on me.:eek: It pumped out almost 3 quarts of oil and from the rather large cloud of smoke, I probably Killed a lot of Mosquitoes that afternoon.:dead:

The Motors OK and the Camaro should be out of the shop by Friday and I will be back out on the Road with my Friend/Partner again.:D

I'm up for it and I've already started. I hope you've posted this on other forums so the word gets around :) I want the competition :death:

We make the drive to Kentucky every year for this event. About 2300 miles each way from Oregon, so practically anywhere else in the US isn't "too far". :p

What are the dates for the Fbody Gathering at the NCM? Bowling Green is only ~180 miles from Huntsville...I may just have to take a road trip for a day or so...I look forward to seeing some great video material!

Crap, you've got my respect as a long hauler. I just have made too many long trips this year. I'd also like to get both of my cars done so I can bring them both up to Fbody gathering and the Corvette museum.

oh man what a great contest! I wish I still had my Z to be able to make a video to enter..... how about a 92 Explorer trying to be like a camaro? :p

I absolutely have to make it out to the Vette Museum someday, thats like Mecca for me (and i'm sure a few others out there). I have always dreamed of picking up a brand new vette at the showroom and then personally driving it to the Lingenfelter shop :D

All I can say is that you guys better bring your big guns to this project, I have been working on something for the past couple of years off and on that is going to leave many people speechless with their jaws hanging open.
