I've been looking through some of the posts and noticed that alot of people are from Massachusetts. I was wondering how many Connecticut F-Bodies there are out there, espcially from southern CT (where i'm from :D )

do you come by here often? there are a couple ws6's here and i am here now if you come around maybe we can meet up sometime or something.

I was there a few weeks ago...my friends live in J-Hill.....where's your g/f at? Also did you ever notice a Viper there. I met the kid who owns it, he's friends with another one of my friends there, its SWEET and he's only 20!!! I go to UCONN so its hard to get there since i'm up in the middle of nowwhere. Next time I go to SHU i'll let you know.

my girl is a freshman in west. havn't seen the viper but i want to race the 96ish ws6 :) and i only once saw a new ws6 wouldn't mind finding out if it has any mods :). definately let me know if i am around we can meet up and spec the cars or chill or whatever!

I live in NY, but presently i go to University of Hartford. Theres also a 20 year old kid here with a Viper, he also has a lightning.:eek:

I'm in CT too. Yeah check out the CTfbody association site. I never went to an event yet, I was gonna go to the fall one becaues I was actually going to get the hell out of college for once, but it rained on me that weekend and it was cancelled. :mad:

What college do you go too?

Bentley College, in Waltham, MA. It sucks. I am going to try to transfer out next year..........something more local so I can go home to the Etown events ;) I have only been home once so far, and it sucks, cause I miss so much going on. I am in the far southwest corner of CT so I'm far away.

My cousin is a senior at Bentley. Check out the third page of my sig. my cousin's car is in it and he has it up at campus. He just painted bright blue but I don't have pics of the painted car yet. I go to UCONN.

Cool, what year are you in? Are you related to David - TheV6Bird? He told me about his cousin at bentley, I think I saw the car before a few times, sounded good, but I wasn't close by to talk to him...........I want to transfer to Uconn or Quinnipiac......going for business/acctng.

EDIT: My little bro has a camaro too, just got his license, has a pos 81 camaro. How about we run em? Brothers vs brothers, mullet power vs 4th gen V6s? His car probly runs solid 18s despite the 350 V8, and if I have street tires my car will be slow, but I level the playing field by making up for him! What do you say? ;)

i know the ****ing difference is the nameplate, but MOST OF THEM HERE ARE 3rd gens and much easier to beat on. the new ones ive only seen at the track and from the staging lanes next to me WASNT impressed with 14.0 slightly modded ss1 00 m6 and the like, HELL MY BOYS GOT A 89 gta with corvette lt1 swap, 3.73's, panhard rod, subframes, bbk throttle body, full exhaust, ram air, shift kit, mt 26 x 8's, and crazy suspension doing consistent 13.7-13.9 and with a 13.4 from nowhere so i really havent had any challenges here other than the stupid vette i OwNeD on tape.

lol! do you know where route 25 is? i laugh because that is my "proving" grounds near there. if you take exit 27A on 95 you go to 25 south, follow to exit 9 (i believe) the name is DANIELS FARM ROAD and take a left, follow to 1st stop light atop a little hill and take left and first right into plaza and follow plaza to d+d and youll see my car there, btw cellly is # 913-3951 drop a line if you get lost er whatnot

actually now that i think of it 20 bucks for motor to motor, and from where you stand ill tell you how much you can make around here... SHEIT! my ****ing pile of **** is one of the top 5 cars that race around here. and ALOT OF PEOPLE RACE. so this is sad that there are no drivers here

Well just to let you know there is no spray in my car but i have it sitting in a box right here and it is for sale. Your MPH is close to mine, find a day w/no salt on the road, dry and somewhere close, and I'll tag you with no internal mods whatsoever, and it's not an LS1, an LT1. I also only have 1 drag radial after September 13th this year, so that should make it interesting, especially since the traction is on the left rear. ;)

HAS to be dry and clear out, could care less how cold.

Also, do you frequent the Pike, if not, how 'bout Sandy Hollow Road, Ledyard, CT?

BTW, there won't be much of a reaction time difference, if you wanna run from a 5-15mph start, besides, no traction on the street with my 6-speed, but if you think it'll own ya, I'll break out the '94. Or if you really wanna get owned, I have an '89 Trans Am with a tiny 3.8L V6 that might just put the works on ya. It's a 3rd gen, I'm sure you wouldn't mind "Owning" it...

dead stock eh..... i believe i heard those terms when i raced that 11 second 550bhp subaru around here for 100 beans..... im down for any kinda races you want... my boy's got a digi camera and will post online too ;) im always down for friendly comp but you better hurry, mustang is just getting worse an has only got a few left in here before 350 swap (YES A FORD WITH A CHEVY MOTOR) and then its OVER :bow: LOL where you from anyway, do you frequent the merrit canteen?
