Whats up guys, kinda new here.

Theres an ok looking camaro the people down the street are selling, they want 3k but we talked them down to 1,500 because the engine is making a loud knocking sound.

Car is decent shape, anything I should look for?

Thumbs up Re: Thinking about picking up this camaro, $1500 bucks, what do you think?

You'd better jump on that for $1500. Especially if the transmission shifts good. It would be worth that as a roller.

I'd buy it quick for that price, it can be parted out for way more than that. Sounds like something broken in the valvetrain to me, probably not a big deal to fix.

I'd buy it and pay someone else to go through the motor. Everyone is right, you could make almost $1500 by selling the trans/pedals/slave cylinder to someone wanted to do a six speed swap on their auto car.
