How To Install????

hey guys i finally got a dual snorkel air cleaner for my 89 camaro rs tbi now my problem is how do i install it i mean is there any changes i have to make or change things around????anyone out there can please help...also how would i go by running the air tube for the passenger side????..i know you can take the high beam headlight out on the passenger side but i really dont wanna do that is there any other way??...thanks for your help:bow:

opps guys im sorry my bad...im kinda confused with the heat risers on both sides of the snorkel does both heat risers need to be connected becuz i have no clue how to connect them???i live in cali so i dont think i need them here its always hot here..but i am in understanding that i will need the heat risers when it comes time to smog my car???.the dual snorkel that i bought doesnt have the heat risers now how do i go by installing the dual snorkel with out the heat risers????? is it just a slap on type of thing just with out connecting the vacum hoses??....thanks

the heat risers are to warm up the incoming air charge to prevent throttle blade icing
it takes air from around the exhaust manifold where it is hottest
you can get away fine by leaving it disconnected, it will just take the hot air from the underhood compartment
i dont think you'll have throttle blade icing problems anyway

If you still have the stock headers on the car you should have a bracket on the drivers side for the heat stack. If you do just hook the one side up for Cali. smog compliance. It will draw enough air through one side til it warms up.:cool:
