Did a camaro ever have flip up headlights?

Me and my friend got into an argument on rather or not a camaro has ever had flipup head lights, I told him they have never had flip up's but he insists they did.

Well, sort of. On the 1st gens, there was an "rs" version. The first Rally Sport. It had flip up covers over the headlights. But the headlights didn't actually flip up.

No production Camaro has ever had headlights that moved.

The old 1st gen RS option had headlight doors that moved to expose the headlights.

he is probably confusing camaro with a firebird.

My first car was a 67 RS with the Hideaway headlights. The doors were vacuum operated and didn't work that well. I think they went to electric doors in 68.

By 69 they were electric, and still didn't work very well in the winter.
And like Shoebox said, the lights didn't move only the doors moved.
