Removing door panel + power locks questions (3rd Gen)

I need to take the door panel off to get in and tighten the drivers side mirror up, and I also wanna see if I can mount some 5" speakers in the door.

In the Chiltons guide it says to first remove the lock bolt thrower?

Now these are the only things I see to remove:

So after I undo those screws, what else is holding the black trim on top and the grey side panel on?

And my power locks suck, sometimes I have to hit the button 2-3 times to get it to move the lock enough to actually lock the door. While I have the door panels off is there anything I can monkey with to make it better?

EDIT: Oh ya sorry the pic sucks :D

There is a bunch of white plugs holding it in also. There's a special tool that makes taking them out really easy. Otherwise it's fine just pulling them out with a screwdriver. Then there are some plastic tabs on the inside of the window on the top. You have to push towards the glass, then lift up. These are the hardest ones to get out. Having the window down helps a ton, and you can see what you are doing from there.

Also, those bolts you have circled, some of them are fake and made of plastic. They will strip very easy so be careful.

So what order should I do that in, the real screws in the door handle area then the white plugs, and then the plastic tabs?

Yep, just like that. Once you start taking it off you will know what plugs I am talking about. Same goes for the tabs. You can use a screwdriver to hold the tabs back on the top while someone else, or you, pulls it up.

Word of caution. There is a hidden screw in the upper panel next to the lock switch panel or behind it. Look for it before you really put any muscle on it. Three screws in the armrest. Have to remove the little plug in the top of it. You can usually lube up the electric lock rods and the latch assy and get them working better. That sliding lock button is the worst part of the deal, easy on, hard off. Pull out at the bottom of the panel a bit and slide it up to remove.

Ok, armrest came off very nicely, I have no idea whats holding the handle/lock thing on now, its liek its held in somewhere below where the screws are and I see nothing to remove.

And I dont see any plugs or plastic tabs anywhere? the three main things i've got are the doorhandle area, door interior, and the black plastic trim piece. which order will they come off in? and how do I find these pugs and tabs?

The trim piece moves a little but I dont wanna force anything off and break it.

First is the armrest, two screws underneath, one on the upper extension. Then the black plastic piece, pull it to the rear and out, then the panel itself.

trying to remove the stuff around the handle is not going well, its loose, but I cant get it around the handle, still feels like theres a screw somewhere that I can see.

Ok the thing thats stuck is the lock that slides on the bottom. Tom2 said its easy on, hard off, but i dont wanna break it, do I really need to use a lot of force?

Thanks for the help so far guys!

The rod that the lock botton is attached to is "L" shaped, with the short leg pointed toward you. Pull the door handle as if your opening the door and feel under the plastic trim for the rod. I didn't remove the plastic trim piece from the door handle, I just fed it through the "panel hole" that it covers.
The white plastic panel retainers are all around the perimeter of the panel. Start at the lower corner and insert a tool about 2 inches and slide it along the edge. You will soon feel the fastener, gently pry out at these points.
