Shifter boot retainer

The square piece of plastic that attatches the shift boot on an M6 to the bezel on my 1996 Z is beat. I can't find a replacement piece that DOESN'T come with the boot itself. my boot is fine.. does anyone know where i can get just the square retainer?! I'm going out of my mind!

You might try a search. This question is asked quite often. I don't know the answer.

On ls1tech.com there is a member named Farmer2 and he makes replacements out of metal so you can get in touch with him and he can hook you up.
