Vin #

Hi this probably sounds like another dumb question by me and sorry if it is but where is the engine vin number on a chevy 350? Is it in different place on different engines?

Can anubody help please?

Chevy small blocks all have the engine serial number on a flat, just in front of the passenger side head on the front of the motor. It's actually on a part of the deck that extends out beyond the head.
