Cody sweetassz 11-08-2002, 02:12 AM Is that all there is to it? 95Blackhawk 11-08-2002, 08:47 AM What is the computer showing when it surges? you know, BLM's, timing, etc. Ben sweetassz 11-08-2002, 12:55 PM I know my blm's are off a bit. At idle the right side will go up to 160 the left side around134. While cruising the right side is around 130 left side about 140. I havent really looked at timing(spark advance, I have a scanmaster). All the other values are within normal parameters and no knock retard for the most part. 95Blackhawk 11-08-2002, 03:38 PM Showing us data is always easiest. Ben KenP 11-08-2002, 07:03 PM Like Cody, I got rid of cam surge by pulling out 2-3 degrees of advance from the timing table cells the PCM was in when the surging occured. You will need a scanner for this because you need to monitor RPM and MAP. I also smoothed out the cells adjacent to the problem area. Usually a few degrees works fine. Kenny sweetassz 11-08-2002, 11:59 PM Thanks for the insight KenP I will give it a shot...After I buy Tunercat, a lap top, cable ,Datamaster. This is getting expensive. Also the car stutters at low speed the blms are at 150 plus.I believe this is also tuning related. Opti, map, coil, and EGR were just changed. Any ideas on this guys? | ||
