Scratched Windshield

I changed wiper blade inserts and they weren't quite locked in and sipped. There is a scratch at the end of the wiper arc travel, worse on the passenger side than the driver's. I tried polishing them off with jewelers rouge and a dremel but it didn't do much. Any body have any luck having any one do this for them? I know Eastwood makes a polish kit for this-wondered if anyone ever tried it?

I have heard they work well but you have to work carefully,it can be aggressive and you can end up with visual distortion through the glass

Same thing happened - somehow slipped out on me and I drove for like 15 mins like that not noticing. I just went at it with every rubbing compound/wax I had - and, you can hardly see any of if now - and it's been good for about a year, so whatever happened worked...whether it's filled or not.

www.eastwood.com

sells a windshield scratch polish...works pretty good for the small stuff and helps deminish the look of deep scratches.
