Hi there,
According to my hand-book,cars with manual transmission hold 14.5L of coolant and autos hold 14.3L of coolant. This capacity is for the entire system,ie the block, radiator, reservoir, hoses etc.
Hope this helps,Mark.

For non-metric units, divide the numbers above by 3.78, or look in the Owner's Manual. If you don't have one, Shoebox has a link to an online copy.

...or elsewhere on my site it says:

LT1 coolant capacities for the 4th gen F-body:

With Manual Transmission - 15.3 quarts (14.5 L)

With Automatic Transmission - 15.1 quarts (14.3 L)

To the best that I could, I put some epoxy on the crack in my tank. It doesn't leak AS BAD as before, but it still does. Should do a more thorough job with the epoxy/take that off and use JB weld/ or what?
personally, I'd replace the rad

huh?...what does that have to do with this thread, and further, Rob's post that you quoted??

I don't even know what "tank" you are talking about. The coolant resevoir? If that's the case, I would just buy a new one. Otherwise, define "tank," and possibly start a new thread.

I think you'll end up replacing the radiator.

Why are you hijacking someone else's thread. If you have a problem, and need help, start your own thread. Really discourteous.

quite possible one of the best hijackings i've ever witnessed.

And we really need a dozen people telling this guy the capacities are:

With Manual Transmission - 15.3 quarts (14.5 L)

With Automatic Transmission - 15.1 quarts (14.3 L)

Once that information is given, I don't see a problem with asking a very closely related COOLANT question. :o
That's not very closely related AT ALL. There are hundreds of problems that could deal with cooling systems. A very closely related question would be something like "does anybody happen to have those numbers in gallons?" -even though I believe the conversion was already given.
