? about puuting 94 tranny into a 95 car.

I keep reading that you cannot use a 94 4l60e tranny in a 95+ car.
I have a 95 z with a 94 lt1 and I was thinkning of going automatic. Can I run the 94 4l60e since I also have the 94 auto wire harness?

Thanks
Brandon

Your engine has nothing to do with it, there is no reall difference between 94 and 95 motors, it is the wireing that would be different for the tranny circuts, and the actuall controls for the TCC in the tranny...

So I will be fine using a 94 4l60e tranny since I have a 94 wiring harness for an automatic car?

Do you have the 94 PCM too?

If the harness you have includes the wireing to the tranny then yes, should be fine...

94-95 pcm's are the same. I would just have to get my 95 6 speed pcm reflashed to an a4 car.
Thanks
