Help, Help, Please...................

I am trying to change my LID and I am having trouble getting the MAF out of the air silencer ( you know the big black ugly thing that is supposed to quiet the air when it comes through). Any ways please help me out. I have tried everything except cutting the damn thing out. This is really pissing me off :mad: !! ANd yes I have loosened all of the screws. so any advice please speak now.

Try using a hair dryer to heat is up...

I got it out. I didn't use a hairdryer (don't have one). I slowly ran hot water (tap) over the plastic peice making sure that NO WATER made contact with the MAF. Thanks for the help though.
