Do They Sell Anything I Can Spray On To The Sides Of My Bumper So The Rubber Doesn't Stick When I Do A Burn Out Before I Race?

Re: Burn Outs

Jegs sells this stuff called Burnout Guard. You spray it on before you do a burn out and it should just rinse off.

Re: Burn Outs

bug and tar remover or brake cleaner should do it. in the future spray pam cooking spray on the quarters, that's what i do at the track before racing.

Re: Burn Outs

I 2nd WD-40. Just spray it on and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Blast what you can off with the hose, then more WD and a cloth. Works great.

Re: Burn Outs

As far as keeping it from sticking to begin with, try waxing where it normally gets and don't wipe off the haze. Seems to keep it from sticking as bad.

Re: Burn Outs

or you can always use the ghetto protectant way. duct tape garbage bags on your rear bumper. thats what a local guy does to his z06 at the track.
