Which future car interior is this? Or is it a hoax?

Definetely an Epsilon, most likely a Malibu refresh.

From what I read in C&G, it's GMX 386, the 08? Malibu. Looks pretty good. I've been impressed with a lot of GM's recent interior offerings

Malibu is the first thing I thought. The layout looks like an Epsilon

Very similar to the Saturn Aura's interior, so an Epsilon car is probably accurate.

Chaz you read the thread, evok said it was an early CAD of the next Malibu's interior.

Not bad. Not so sure I like that big blank space on the passenger side though.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the color scheme? ;)

I love the dashboard but from what I can see the doors and steering wheel look out of place. Still, looks like a BIG step up from the current Malibu if that is, in fact, what it is...

Ok, is this the EPII Malibu or is it mearly a refresh of current EPI model? At least now they know how to make the center stack flow smooth to the center console (my biggest pet peve with my car)

I agree. The relatively new 3 spoke wheel looks old and out of place to me in that context.

It's the next Malibu. I saw it today.

I notice you're in Olathe. Do you work out at Fairfax, or did you get to go to a clinic at the plant?

I work at the plant. What are you talking about when you say "clinic"?

I work at the plant. What are you talking about when you say "clinic"?

Like a styling clinic - where a manufacturer brings in average people in the car's target demographic and says "what do you think of this?" I thought maybe they had brought in some prototype stuff to Fairfax for styling clinics, but since you work there, I assume it's just showing you the next model you'll build. There was something in the paper a while back about having a production version Aura out there (though they just said "future Saturn") well before it was shown to the public.

I saw the car in Detroit. I travel a lot for work. There are a handful of Aura's running around town. We're building a few of them everyday. Other than the Sky I think it's the best Saturn vehicle GM has built to date.

I'll have to keep an eye out for Auras! I think it will be a success. It's a good looking car.
